Best free agent for every NFC South team.

Free Agency is coming up, and there are a lot of good players on the market this year!

Here are the best players for each NFC South team:

Falcons: Lavonte David

Now, this is a tough one. The Falcons have a negative cap this year. The falcons can make some cap-saving moves to get out of that, such as cutting Dante Fowler Jr. This is very unlikely but if the Falcons can get Lavonte David on a cheap 1 to a 2-year contract, this falcons defense will do wonderful things. A leader like David can boost their underachieving defense by using his leadership and knowledge. Plus, he would be a staple on the Falcons linebacker core while being able to blitz and tackle.

Panthers: Hunter Henry

I know what you guys are thinking. They need defense. Besides the quarterback position the Panthers are fine on offense. There is one other hole people forget about. Tight End. It's not the most important position but Hunter Henry has the potential to fill Greg Olsen's wide hole he left in Carolina. Hunter Henry can catch passes very well can can also block better than most tight ends in the league, being able to create holes for Christian McCaffrey.

Saints: Sammy Watkins

The saints need a Number 2 WR. Emmanuel Sanders was ok in his first year with the Saints, but might get cut because of cap restrictions. And for all we know Michael Thomas might not even be in New Orleans after this injury riddled season. So enter Sammy Watkins. He's not a number one receiver but if he Michal Thomas stays around he will be a great complement. Michael Thomas can run slants and short routes while Sammy goes deep. An considering the Saints are a playoff team Sammy will most likely sign a cheap contract to go there.

Buccaneers: Shaquil Barret

The Bucs are in negative cap. They have so many players going into free agency. They also have a franchise tag that they can use on any one of their players. If I was them, I would keep Squacell Barret. Just look at the super bowl to see how good he is. He is a generational pass rusher who can produce extremely well. In 2019 he produced a whopping 19.5 sacks. He is one of the most underrated players and deserves a long term deal. This is highly unlikely but Jason Licht might be able to pull it off.
